Adventures To GO! Micro Adventures for Individuals, Families and "Lockdown Bubble" Groups

What is a Micro Adventure?

The phrase "microadventure" was coined by author Alastair Humphreys in his excellent book "Microadventures - Local Discoveries, Great Escapes." Roughly defined as a short, simple and local adventure that is still challenging and fun, the term covers a whole host of opportunities to try something new while staying close to home.

With the ever-present health and safety challenges caused by the global COVID-19 pandemic, we are keenly aware of the desire for individuals and families to shelter-in-place while still having opportunities for outdoor adventures. We have been working hard to find the balance between managing the risk of disease transmission and providing access to the outdoors and to new adventure experiences.

Adventures To GO! provides a variety of guided adventure instruction courses designed for individuals, families and small safety-oriented groups located in the Maryland, Virginia and Washington, DC metropolitan area.

Our goal is to provide access to adventure in whatever capacity you are ready for.

Adventures To GO! brings the adventure to you - at a local park, a nearby campground, or even your own backyard!
