Ropes Course Teambuilding in Germantown, Maryland
The Challenge Course at Butler School is an ideal team building facility for groups from Washington, DC, Montgomery County, Maryland and Northern Virginia.
The Butler ropes course has a wide array of low and high ropes elements, many of which are in a wooded area at the edge of Seneca Creek State Park. The shade of the trees keeps our ropes course relatively cool in the summer, perfect for groups who want to be outdoors, but not melt in the heat of the sun.
What is Ropes Challenge Course Teambuilding?
Ropes courses are a great way for groups to increase team cohesion, fine-tune problem-solving skills, elevate trust and improve communication. When part of a larger team development initiative, a ropes challenge can serve as a laboratory for process improvement, creative thinking and innovation. Not to mention, ropes courses are FUN!
The challenge course combines Low Elements – activities that take place near the ground and focus on problem-solving, communication enhancement and building trust – with the High Elements – activities that take place 20 to 50 feet off the ground. The result is a high level of trust and cohesion between the members of a group in a relatively short period of time.
